Cornish Yurts

Our yurt is a spacious 18 feet in diameter, and comes equipped with a Cornish cream tea welcome hamper (for weekly stays), wood burner, a bag of logs for the burner or campfire, electric lighting and sockets for portable electrical equipment such as mp3 players, laptops and hairdryers. Additional bags of wood can be supplied by Cornish Yurts at a minimal cost.

 

Sleeping

The Wooden Hobbit Yurt is suitable for sleeping up to 4 people. It is furnished with a king size bed and two pull out single beds. Beds will be fully made up for you as required, on arrival.

 

Cooking

Our yurt has its own gas barbeque and a firepit for campfire cooking. We ask that you clean the gas barbeque before you depart, please. Our yurt also has an al fresco eating area with picnic table and chairs. 

 

Kitchen

Across the meadow from the yurt there is a kitchen facility for the yurt, including a washing machine (the yurt has a rotary dryer outside), sink, toaster, kettle, and kitchen cabinets with a wide variety of crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots and pans. Our yurt also has its own fridge in the kitchen area, complete with freezer compartment. Tea towels, washing up liquid, cleaning cloths and washing powder are all provided.

 

Bathroom
Adjacent to the kitchen facility there is a private bathroom for the yurt, with hot shower, wash-basin and flushing toilet.

Please bring your own bath and beach towels.
